In its June announcement, Los Angeles-based Kilroy (NYSE: KRC) said it paid $580 million in an off-market transaction for the roughly 730,000-square-foot tower, or roughly $800 per square foot. It ranked as the 14th largest transaction of its type in the country last year, and No. 1 locally.
